Challenge
The company served several different market segments that each have their unique needs and buying considerations, yet products and solutions were presented in a uniform way.
Action
We designed a new website architecture and product / market database that was easy to maintain and yet extremely flexible in its use. Different customer tracks were developed for the specific market segments and product and their benefits were presented with the decision making unit in mind.
Results
The customer tracks provided a relevant product selection process and optimized path that appropriately considers their decision making factors and additional information needs. Optimization of search terms for each track resulted in an increase of traffic of more than 250%, and much improved user experience and conversion due to significantly increased customer confidence in the ability of the company to meet the customers’ needs and demonstrate thought leadership.

Challenge
The website was developed to attract potential customers to the brand by providing helpful lifestyle information that was deemed to be valuable to the potential customer. The website was extremely well optimized from a technical perspective and used some clever techniques to support its authority.
My marketing instincts told me that while the site was getting good traffic, the engagement and conversion needed a closer look.
Action
Analysis of the website traffic and visitor behaviour provided clear insights in what people were really trying to find on the website. A presentation was given to senior management of the client which lead to the development of a proposal for a new website and online marketing strategy.
Results
The new website design boosted the company’s brand credibility and provided the much desired product and buying information in addition to more relevant helpful lifestyle information. As a result website traffic grew by 300% in the first year.
